I might have a way to get Visa (at least them) to look into the issue of foreign cards not accepted at store which prominently show the Visa acceptance logo.
Need to do some tests, will update u folks soon.
I looked at different 7-11 stores and they are actually not showing the Visa logo. Their terminal shows that they accept cards issued by Cathay United.
On the bottom they show the Google Pay logo. But as I understand it Google does not guarantee the card in Google Wallet can be used in every place Google Pay is available.
Recently my Post Bank Visa was also declined when trying to pay in McDonald’s.
