Are there any good websites where I can find huge lists of Taiwanese companies? Would be great if the site had filters for things like employee size so I can find just mid size companies.

maybe checking the government websites with tax IDs can give some options in their menus? You can check every company’s basic details online including capital Not sure if they list employee numbers, but might.

Yes there is , but only total numbers of “Businesses Termination” by each County/City
you can find the information here
However there is some data about the Newly Registered Businesses by County/City and Industrial classification
Also data for Number of Small and Medium Enterprises by Industry (the latest is for 2020)

interesting how education and health are so low down the table 
I don’t know the real numbers, but maybe because majority of the service is provided by govt entities?
