In the process of interviewing for a Mechanical Engineering job located in Taipei/Taichung. Can anyone give salary advice? I have ~ 5 years experience.
Kind of a mixed question. It depends. Are you asking what an engineer should get paid in Taiwan? Or, what is a livable salary in Taiwan?
The first question someone else will have to help with. The second question largely depends on both where you are going to live, and what standard of living you want/are used to having, etc…

Hope you got the position and a decent salary. May I ask for a ballpark figure regarding your salary? My circumstances (industry, years of experience, city) are very similar to yours, so it would be interesting to know.
