Looking for a Prepaid Visa/MasterCard in Taiwan (Not Bank-Linked)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for options to get a Visa or MasterCard that is not tied to a bank account. Ideally, I’d like something I can top up with cash or through a bank transfer and then use for online purchases (local and international).

Some ATM cards act just like a Visa card, with Visa label on it, and draw directly from bank account.

Need to be sure bank covers problems like erroneous charges just like a credit card.

Don’t know which Taiwan banks have those.

Do you mean the ATM + Visa card that is tied to a bank account? I already have one of those. I want a Visa-enabled prepaid debit card that is not tied to a bank account. However, if I choose to, I can top it up from any bank account.
