Our company has overseas guests from our management team. One is an Indian vegeterian. I am looking for a good vegetarian resturant in Taipei to take him out to dinner.
Needs to be presentable (no hole in the wall places) and with ambiance that allows conversation.
budget - I think around 1500 NTD per person.
I prefer something local, that he can’t find back home, so preference is for TW restaurants.

Not overly expensive (under 1000 NTD/person),
buffet style and has lots of dishes and drinks. You can make a reservation online 24-hours prior to dining. For same day dining, you must make a call to reserve.

Red Room pretty decent
Plants. In Daan, near Sogo mrt station. they are more casual and western, but if I remember correctly they have a private room. Can call and ask. I eat there nearly everytime I am up north.
