Hello, I know this is a long shot but I’m wondering if there are any parents whose child has autism and would like to get together for a children playdate. My daughter is almost 5 and I’ve been trying to reach out to a parent group (in English) for this matter, but it has been difficult. Also due to privacy reasons, the therapy clinics will not connect the parents to each other. I have read that as children with autism communicate in a ‘different’ way that they have a higher chance of ‘clicking’ with another child that also has autism. If anyone living in the Taipei area has a small child with autism and is interested in getting together as a playgroup, please do PM me.

I’ll ask around, are you in Taipei? There are myriad facebook groups for expats in Taiwan, often focused to the city, such as “Foreigners in Tianmu”. May be worth a review.
