Can anybody recommend a nice public co-ed hot springs up in the YMS area? My friends are coming in during Chinese New Year and would like to take them up to some. I’ve been to the private ones before and once tried the cheap public one by the Beitou Hot Spring museum but wasn’t too clean. I’ve been to some nice ones down in the Taideng area but don’t know of any in Y.M.S. Any help would be much appreciated!
Tienlai. On the back side of YMS heading toward Jinshan. 16 or more pools, indoor and out, showers, whirlpools, jets, sauna, steam room, fantastic mountain scenary. About 700-800 a person I think but so worth it. We stayed about 3 hours last time.

If you are going by car there is also a completely natural spring just down the road and a short hike in. It’s called Bayen.
