Looking to hire assistant to help me register Taiwan apps

I had been deported from Taiwan, I haven’t used my bank account for several years now, it requires me to go to the bank counter to access it which is not possible since I’m banned from Taiwan for at least 7 years. My business activities in Taiwan are basically restricted and limited, potential customers cannot transfer money to my account anymore.

So I’m looking to hire an assistant for me in Taiwan as a messenger and courier to me solve my problems, I need to register Taiwanese apps such as shopee to sell products but I don’t have a Taiwanese phone number, I even don’t have a close friend to help me out, paying for a lawyer costs a lot of money and there are too many scammers online which I can’t possibly trust asking me to pay by USDT, so I’m looking for a foreigner or someone in Taiwan that is willing to help me, I’ll provide you money for the services and I don’t accept any crypto payment only the one way by PayPal or bank transfer, the old school method.

So, I don’t want to bust your chops, but I also don’t want anyone else to get in trouble - given you’ve been open about why you’re having trouble with things like getting to your bank account, it might be useful if you can affirmatively state for anyone interested (whatever that’s worth) that helping you get access to things like your bank account isn’t helping you get access to funds from previous said troublesome activities? And while I understand a potential reluctance to state what sort of business you’re looking to transact and what sort of customer, given previous business and customers, it might be useful for you (and frankly, the site operators) if you provide some transparency in the type of business you’re looking to transact?

Yeah. As much as I need money. This is very risky.

I’m not asking people to access my bank account. Even if I did I could not trust anyone with my funds and it would requires a letter of authorisation. I’ll need to deal with that later.

I’m trying to hire someone to help me install apps tied a Taiwanese phone number. I want to get back to the trading business as I can help people import products from Taiwan and sell them overseas but since all apps require Taiwanese phone numbers nowadays, it’s difficult, I also need to find a way to collect money and pay people.

The reason some apps are tied to phone numbers is that phone numbers in many cases serve as digital IDs. Anyone who lends their phone number to someone is in essence lending their identity to someone … and could be charged as an accessory to any scam or other crime associated with their number. They could also be liable to pay for associated damages.

Not that the o/p is trying to do anything bad, and I wish him luck. But just on general principle, people should stay far, far away from doing favors like this for anyone, with or without pay.

This can get people jail time if those activities are deemed fraudulent
Very common problem in Taiwan . Don’t handle money for other people folks.

Sounds like a good plan and I applaud your drive to start anew. If it’s difficult to access local shopping platforms without a local phone number, why don’t you contact the vendors directly to have goods sent to you (or your drop shippers) and pay via international bank transfer (or credit card where that is an option)? Seems easier to me that having to hire local help, especially when you are just starting out.

With all due respect, you need to do things by the book. Call a lawyer and CPA. Set up an on-the-books business, and hire an employee with new company bank accounts, company phone numbers and shopee accounts.

Should not be under your name directly.
