Ok, I can understand losing… what was it, $9 billion… because that’s money: sure it’s going to stick to a few fingers. And once it’s gone… well, it’s gone. But losing weapons??

GAO, the investigative arm of the US Congress, said at least $2.8bn of this money was used to buy and deliver weapons and other equipment.
