I think she said Keelung.

she said something like “keelin”

definitely NOT jilong tho, as there are NO hotsprings anywhere near there.

couldnt figure out if shes south african (most likely) or from New Zealand from her accent.

I can’t figure out what’s wrong with youtube these days. I can only get about 25% of the videos I click on to load, this not being one of them.

Well it finally loaded. I liked the description along with the video "My South African friends Janine and Tammy show me some sexy hot springs in Taiwan, China."

As was said above that is Jilong (my wife confirmed) which is north of Taipei. My wife says there are better hot springs in the east of Taiwan though.

Hmm, I did some Google-ing and came up with very little for Keelung…but there was a lot of stuff about a place called Beitou, which seems to be near, in, or around Taipei. It seems that that’s where the hot springs are…? My wife lived in the US for 10 years, so maybe she’s a little out of touch. At any rate, here’s a description of Beitou:

“Curative… refreshing… the world’s first hot-spring stone. The Beitou hot springs are situated at the northeast corner of the Taipei basin, surrounded by Mt. Shamao, Mt. Qixing, and Mt. Datun. The “Hokuto” stone used in Japan’s cancer during pool was first discovered in Taiwan’s Beitou area. With the radioactive elements in the Beitou hot springs, these springs have amazing curative powers. Springs of this type exist only in Taiwan’s Beitou, Japan, and Chile.”

Radioactive elements? :loco:

If you google “Beitou hot springs” you’ll find a ton of stuff.

Possibly WANLI which is west of Keelung

Wanli has no hotsprings that i know of, but Chinshan just further down the road DOES ! And it even had a small mud volcano erupt before.
