Lugang/Lukang Hotel Recommendations?

Planning a trip for the end of this month, not finding much online and nothing came up under search.

Any suggestions for a reasonably nice and reasonably priced hotel in Lugang/Lukang?

When we visit Lugang, we usually stay in Taichung, as there are more options. Hostels, home stays, push-button motels…

LEADER HOUSE (tel: 04 778 6699) is part of a major chain, and while certainly comfortable isn’t especially cheap or characterful, nor very central.
LK B&B (tel: 04 777 4446) is central and quiet.
QUANZHONG HOTEL (tel: 04 777 2640) is on the main drag. It’s a good option as cheapies go, but pretty basic.

Thanks, but I actually live in Taichung, wanna go for a cpl days, stay like 2-3 nights there and not worry abt commuting a cpl hrs each day (your avatar rox btw)

Lugang I actually enjoy more, especially the food. There is a famous chicken there, mmm.
