Well, I just reserved train tickets. That was easier than in past years. I think they opened ticketing up earlier than before, but I’m not sure about that.
I’m really looking forward to the 9 days this year, during which I’ll exercise much, eat well, and get a much-needed break from work.
I hope this coming Schall von Bell new year isn’t too cold and the traffic isn’t too bad. Taking daughter and cats down south, and they aren’t great with long road trips.
Did they let you use your ARC?
Yes. I’ve used it for years. You have to select the foreigner ID tab, though. I’ve run into issues during real-name ticketing times, but that isn’t being used now for some reason.

I’m still seeing a lot of available tickets. I use the 剩餘座位查詢 (check available seats) function.
