It’s now lychee season. Anyone ever heard of lychee liqueur and know where to find some? Thanks
There is a brand of liqueur called Dita, produced by the French company Pernod Ricard. Here’s their blurb:

DITA, elegant and sophisticated
DITA was launched in Japan in 1992 and is known in the land of the rising sun as the sophisticated, stylish brand preferred by the modern generation of trendy young Japanese women. Since its introduction, Dita has moved up to second place in the imported liqueurs category.
SOHO, exotique and mysterious
SOHO is ranked number 2 on the new liqueurs market in France. It is a 24-proof drink flavoured with the refreshing taste of lychee, the fruit of a tree native to tropical Asia, which has exquisitely sweet, fragrant pulp. Soho, with its subtle, refreshing and original taste, was launched in 1989 in bars and discotheques, then in 1991 on the mass distribution market. The brand is evocative of Asia’s mysteries. Soho is now conquering other markets, such as Western Europe, North America, and the Caribbean: markets that are so many opportunities to introduce new drinkers to Soho’s unique and original taste.
Ideas for consumption: Soho and Dita can be drunk straight or as a long drink, mixed with fruit juices or soda. They also lend themselves to more elaborate cocktails.
You can by Dita at various liquor stores around town. It’s great with cranberry juice and a bit of vodka - a concoction I first tried at Watersheds.
Thansk for the info Maoman. (Oops, I meant “liqueur” not “liquor” - I promptly edited my mistake.)
I want to get some Made in Taiwan, Lychee Liqueur as gifts. I wonder if there are any?
I’m sure I’ve heard of Taiwanese lychee liqueur before. I’ll ask a couple of people.
I’m looking around for this stuff (Dita) now, but I can’t seem to find it. Has anyone seen it at their local liquor store or elsewhere? Let me know, please…
I know that the Taiwan Tobacco and Wine Corporation makes two types, both for very cheap. Once is in 300mL size under the Alcoa wine cooler brand(3% alcohol) for 30nt. The other is 0.6/0.75L liquer (13.5% alcohol) for 150nt. It’s definitely sold at any of their locationshttp://www.ttl.com.tw/web/m_p01-61.cfm?&ID=台北. Not sure if anywhere else.
