Just went over there today to pick up some food, and found men busy at work doing reconstruction.
Does anyone know if they’ve relocated or is Macaroni Grill gone from Taiwan?? There was no sign posted and I’ve been unable to find anything on the Internet. Their website still lists the XinYi location – but perhaps they just haven’t updated it yet.
V. disappointing.
They’re moving to some other location, apparently near the city airport somewhere, although I’m not exactly sure where. They actually closed well over a month ago.
It took over the space of Trader Vic’s on Minsheng Rd, I believe.
Not sure if it is open quite yet, but it is on that corner there (Tunhua and Minsheng), above the McDonald’s and in the same building as the Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.
The Trader Vic’s tiki is still out in front of the entrance to the elevator, though.
