MT, does Mrs. MT know the “story” of your avatar?
Basically I ONLY ever post from work – for me, its merely an entertainment during a boring desk-jockey job, slightly lower on the scale of interestingness than cable TV. And I don’t have cable. When I’m at home, there’s the baby, doing stuff, etc. If I have ANY computer-dedicated downtime at home, its porn, porn, porn, I’m afraid.
Nubile nipples are trumps over whiny middle-aged men. Sorry, but that’s the way it is.
Change that to chinglish and ya got my wifes opinion. She does comment on some of the avatars she sees. And I have had to block/ignore one Forumosan because of his avatar - my 13 yr old boy was kinda freaked out when he caught a passing glance of it. Not ‘family safe’, IMO.
But other than that, she thinks Forumosa is a waste of time…but it keeps me occupied and out of trouble…hoo hum.

Mrs. MT is the story of my avatar. I was just proud of her mastery of sign language and thought I’d share her talents, but you kids apparently only regard her as a piece of meat. I’m truly saddened.

Yup, MT’s special girl and that crap mouse that looks like a fanny got me to block avatars so I can look at it at work. I’d look at it more if there were no smilies or the special kids from ‘forumosa friends’ to alt-Tab away from any time someone comes into my office.
Ditto about the work time. I check in at other times, just kind of reading the headlines like a newspaper. Tbh, it gets less and less interesting, the more my old friends drift away and as I start to lose interest in Taiwan, having been away so long.

I’m at work; can’t install anything without a chit signed in triplicate by the electricbrain-wallahs.
But if I’m at work and especially if I’m proofreading something, I have to look away from it or I would not be able to function properly. So it’s nice to about once an hour to take a look at forumosa. But today I’ve been a little chatty and foolish. So it’s been more.

My six year old boy likes MT’s avatar. He gets freaked out by Satalite TV’s burning man, though. I don’t like him to see that one.
I’m a lot happier since I turned off all avatars, smileys, and signatures. And if anyone talks to my wife, my screen name is Tomas. That’s what she thinks.
