I am in Taipei till 2014, I know there are other threads on this subject, but I am not sure what is available in Taipei (and at what price and distance from me) now. One of the martial arts schools which looked interesting that was mentioned in older threads appears to no longer be open. I am interested in a more self-defense oriented Martial Art (I’ve already done some Taekwondo and don’t think I want to go back to that). I’m at Chengchi University/國立政治大學 in Wenshan–willing to travel, though cheaper and closer is better (but I want something of quality, which likely will clash with the other goals).
