Seems you cant watch news without multiple daily incidents of senseless, emotional violence. Not little gangster shits or real gangs, but ordinary people.
I think it is due to widespread use of antidepressants/sleeping pills which are given out like candy combined with alcohol.
Of course there are cultural factors too, but those have been widely discussed as to how many Taiwanese have the emotional maturity of grade school kids especially when it comes to losing face.
So, how can we get police/courts/news to make a point of this? Any ideas to push forward reform in this area?
As an aside, I’d like to invest in for-profit mental hospitals/prisons in Taiwan, thinkl they are gonna fill up rapidly
