Didn’t they just move to Neihu? I just ordered from there.

Was back in area, quick stop last month on long way from Europe to Honolulu/TW via Denver. Stop a few days had some good local food (non Asian). Also went to Albuquerque which is bad shape with crime, Denver is paradise in comparison , maybe Albuquerque needs learn something from Denver. PS I did have some nice local beer in Denver, as much as could drink (the food portion size was big so could not drink all the choices)

Has anybody been to Pang?

Pang is the first and only restaurant on the list offering Mexican cuisine, blending refined Mexican flavors with Taiwanese ingredients.

Are you looking for Texmex (plenty of options) or authentic Mexican restaurants?

And if it is the second one, what exact dish are you looking for?

I’m not at all particular about what I want in Taiwan. Anything even semi close to what you get in the US (most types) and I’m a happy man.

I saw Pang made it on the Michelin list and was curious.

Pang is decent enough. Good quality prepared well a bit Mexican-American but still good

The Lao Mo[xiga] Chufang (老墨廚房) small chain, which is labelled simply “Mexican Food” in English signage, has added a place in Banqiao near the intersection of Sichuan and Zhongxiao roads. About equidistant from the Fuzhong and Far Eastern Hospital MRT stations.

Don’t expect anything fancy. It’s Mexican-ish, Chipotle-ish, with a simple menu: tacos (soft, flour), burritos, quesadillas, nachos. Based on my one visit so far, it’s very good for what it is. Also, it’s notably clean.

The chain also has hole-in-the-wall places in Ximen and Xinyi.

Found this little place in Xizhi. Mexican Kitchen. It was satisfying and I’ll be going back. But it’s not very authentic. The burrito stuffed with rice is an example. Again, not the real deal, but I was happy with it, especially with some added hot sauce and salsa, both made by the owner.

That’s an excess of rice.
Do love me some canned orange “cheese” though
