So, Microsoft gets the OK to acquire Nuance, and I did some research, turns out that Nuance is actually the company that acquired Lernout & Hauspie Speech technology after they went bankrupt early 2000’s after financial irregularities. They were back then at the top of speech recognition.
So, in the end there is still some Flemish (Belgian) knowledge going to Microsoft.
