Missing ARC cards

I lived and worked in Taiwan a number of years ago. I had an ARC card for each of those years. Now I can only find the last one in my possession. I am not sure if I misplaced the previous ones or I had to give them back with each application for a new card. I need those cards as proof of my having lived and worked there. Thanks

I think they keep the previous one when you renew them. It has been a while for me.

Check if you have pictures on your phone or copies somewhere in your documents.

I have scans of some but not all.

No you don’t need those cards as proof…because:

Because you have to give the old one back to the immigration centre upon reception of a new (T)A(P)RC card, no matter what the replacement was for, including change of info.

The only exceptions are if the old card expired and you left the country or if immigration centre decides to only process applications by mail due to extenuating circumstances like a pandemic.

To get proof, you need to contact the immigration centre or visit in person to apply to receive the records of your abode in Taiwan.
