Absolutely sure. I didn’t have a license when I got hired for my first 2 high-school teaching jobs. Earned it while at the second. I’d estimate 50% or less of the faculty at any job I’ve had were licensed. Currently I work on a team of 10 and I’m the only one. It’s not unusual.

Anyone hear of stories where one is declined an ARC bc the degree is an online school or distance learning EVEN THOUGH it appears on the MOE approved list?
I’ve definitely heard that they are strict about not accepting online degrees. I always presumed it wouldn’t matter what school it was from.
The MoE will eventually drop its Luddism when it becomes apparent some half of applicants and more are grads of ‘dastardly’ distance-ed.
