hi. I am moving to Taipei in August and while I am happy to go to the bars etc as usual, I would like to know if there are groups such as Meetup groups where lgbt people can meet? I am not talking about dating just like minded people for potential friendship, for slightly older guys.Thanks
Try searching “LGBT” in Taipei on Meetup.com. Taipei is a very gay-friendly city, as far as Asia goes, so I’m sure that there must be many LGBT groups on Meetup.com that should fit the bill. Meetup.com is, in general, a really good tool for anybody new in Taipei. It’s really well represented there.
Thanks. I did look and there is one group. Meetup doesn’t seem to be as popular here as what I am used to but I will give it a go.
