MRT Filming Rules and Empty Hours

I’m working on a music video project where I plan to film a scene in an MRT. I’m wondering if there are rules about filming in Taipei MRT, whether we can film in stations and trains, or if it’s only allowed in the station? Also, does anyone know any trains that are usually almost empty? Please do tell what time it’s usually empty too, thank you

uhh… this didn’t spark your idea, did it?

Off the top of my head absolutely not allowed to shoot commercial video. If you just want b roll of course you can shoot if it’s just you holding a single camera. E.g. you can do a quick walk through an empty carriage following one person but that’s about the extent.

Maybe this is something you should ask TRTC about. I imagine they wouldn’t let film crews show up unless a prior arrangement is made.

A chance to drop my fav Taiwan rail MV. This was the biggest song ever in Taiwan back in the day. Noteworthy for being entirely in the Taiwanese language.

Lim Giong now is doing very well in movie scores.

thanks so much for the answer!

glad to meet another MV lover! By the way just for context, I have no crew whatsoever, not even a DSLR, will be filming with a phone. Just a freshman in college making MVs for portfolio
