id be worried if they dont pay the NHI or labor insurance pn time, cuz then you can actually be harmed, but if they are late paying my income tax… im not as worried

Well one thing I’ve found now that I can track my pension contributions is that I can only see contributions from latest a couple of months ago. Like right now the newest one I can see is from March, no April or May. Not sure if this is because my company is slow to pay, or the labor bureau are slow to process it. If someone else who has access wants to check, be my guest.

That’s quite normal and should be the same for NHI and Laobao. The invoices get send out late by the respective government offices and then you have a certain amount of time to pay, so it effectively ends up 2 months later.
