this can be done very conveniently with a credit card with easycard/ipass function, you just tap that at the turnstile and you can enter and sit in the non-reserved coach. Tap again at exit.

People are so polite and friendly - just go on and don’t be afraid to ask for help. I remember my first night in Taiwan, I was rubbing my eyes cause I found it incredible seeing how lively things were at odd hours of the night.

Ah, I didn’t this. I paid at the desk, but to be fair it was cheaper than I expected anyway. $1450. What a ride that is!! Puts UK to shame.
I wish planes had that much legroom, it kind of reminded me of what I think a good plane ticket is!
Planes are terrible for lanky ones like me 
Got to my hotel, but the air con says 28, I press the down button, but it just flashes the lower number and goes back! It’s cooler outside!
