- People from the Chinese diaspora, with Hong Kongers at the top of the list, and Chinese-Malaysians at the bottom. The latter are nauseatingly pro-CCP and they need to be properly vetted.
- Indians. Like Modi said, Taiwan and India are like soul and body. We can keep the IT (India + Taiwan) dream alive. These are probably the only skilled workers in the world who are affordable. If they don’t stay very long, then get new ones to replace them. But do our best to make them feel welcome. Hold Diwali celebrations at the presidential palace. IT pros are welcome in any skin color, blue-collared workers have to have similar skin color as Taiwanese. Just kidding.
- Samoans and Tongans. The other day I watched a Korean baseball analyst remark that some of our aboriginal players “definitely have a similar feel to Samoans.” That’s not an informed take, but it gave me an idea.
We can import power hitters. These guys are amazingly fast for their size too–perhaps they can be 40-40 clubbers. Give them scholarships to those baseball boarding schools when they’re real young, expedite their citizenship, and have them sign a contract to play for the national team in 一級賽 if called upon.
- Eastern European models. I’ve seen some street interviews with these beauties by people like Jay and Johnny. I think they can really improve Taiwan’s genetic stock.
Got some Mad Max “Breeder” vibes here, brother
Why Honkies above Taiwanese?
Taiwanese are already Taiwanese, they’re not immigrants.
Not true says my malaysian fren
Still doesn’t make sense
Slow day at work?
He’ll probably soon have to report to work/office and not wfh.
It’s MLK day.
Well on social media they are insufferably pro-CCP. Some may be bots, I don’t know.
But Westerners explained to me that China’s prestige gives them 面子 as a “persecuted” minority.

Still doesn’t make sense
What do you mean? If they’re Taiwanese, then they’re not “immigrants.”
Taiwanese can be immigrants. They can get greencards and then get citizenship.

In Taiwan?
Hmm, thinking you mean in U.S., because of inauguration.
Carry on with your holiday.
