I don’t see that happening as I’m pretty sure unless the foreigner bought the house themselves, the utility would be in the landlord’s name.

They’ll give 30% discount now, but you need to pay the bill first and next time they’ll deduct the 30%.
They said this to me but I said “how can you guarantee you’ll give me the discount on the next bill.”
Remember I visited in person. The lady left and said let me find out. When she came back she said how about we adjust your bill now and send you a new bill.
If anyone sees the 30% reduction in the future please post a pic here so we can all receive it. 
Wtf. We purposely watched how often we used our AC which was mainly at night while sleeping. Now the power bill is even higher at 13,000nt. What is going on? My bill power bill is higher here than when I lived in Miami. Totally nuts.
So if anyone can post a picture of the 30% discount it would be much appreciated. I’m going to have to visit Taipower again
