N-word in the UK

I was at the Hudson store at Sao Paulo Guarulhos airport buying water for my flight home when I saw this half-black girl call a black dude the N-word with a British accent. It sounded funny because the N-word is supposed to be crude, whether as an endonym or a slur, and a British accent is associated with elegance.

So I asked, “They use the N-word in the UK too?” Without any greeting. I should have said, “excuse me” or something to that extent.

After a couple of seconds, he said, “Yes. It’s our favorite word to use.”

Did they give you an N-pass?

Nope, didn’t ask for one, didn’t use the word.

To be fair looks like the reddit post has been deleted.

Ah shit it’s deleted?

Be careful what you ask for this guy has a habit of sneaking pics of women at airports.

That’s Glasgow. They’re a different breed over the border. It’s why the Romans build Hadrian’s Wall.

Yes, a weird habit
