Hi all, new to the forums, I hope all are well, and I hope I don’t get in trouble for cross posting; I’m sorry, I’m at my wits end.
BaoYu Huang or Boyle Huang, was my Grand Father, and my name is Kevin Yuan-Kung Huang.
I’m desperately trying to find the location of the land my now deceased Father said the family owned in Taiwan.
Many years back, my Dad said we owned some plot of land on a hill or mountain.
My Dad’s only surviving Brother, has stated we may try to find the geographical location and address in hopes of selling the land.
As a Starving Artist myself, I think this is a great idea
Just earlier today I found this website; https://www.land.nat.gov.tw/.
I’m finding that website hard to navigate as I’m using Google to translate the webpages and I’ve found no other useful information online on how to look up the Land Title History.
I’ve tried calling Taiwanese Government Official phone numbers, sadly, my Mandarin is not very good.
Additionally, I’ve tried, https://www.roc-taiwan.org/ca_en/contact_us.html,
This is the Taipei Economic and Cultural Offices in Canada.
They sent me to the website in Taiwan and instructed I had to fly there to find this information and transfer ownership through inheritance to my Uncle.
Before we plan for a trip around the world, would anyone care to allow me to buy them a few coffees if they can look up the properties geographical address using that website above?
I think it costs 10 Taiwan dollars to search and receive information.
I would gladly reimburse this as well add some coffee money
Thanks so much for reading this!
I really appreciate you all!
Have a beautiful new year
Sincerely,
Kevin Yuan-Kung Huang
