Wikipedia.org made access to encyclopedic information very convenient. I just stumbled across something similar for statistics: individual country or comparative international statistics. Want to know how two countries compare, or all countries compare, on any of thousands of points, check it out. Easy to use. Maps, charts, the works.

If you haven’t tried www.nationmaster.com , you really should take a look at it.

I agree completely. I haven’t had a chance to play with it much yet, but I did get a chance to look quickly, and it looks like a great site. Nice reference, seeker4.
