In February 2005 I will be attending a 2 week class at a very prestigious institute in Tainan. The classes will be however in Mandarin - needless to say, not my strongest point.
I need a translator for 10 days - 6 hours per day. I would like to find someone locally, a person living in Tainan.
I need your advice, obviously many of you live there, on what would be a reasonable pay for the two weeks and where I could find someone?

So what you’re saying is you need a Mandarin interpreter? What’s this got to do with needing a Cantonese translator?
