Discovered by a team led by UPenn professor Yi-wei Chang (張毅偉), who is Taiwanese and got his masters degree in NTHU before going to UPenn for his PhD. Dr. Chang is an expert in the field of CryoET, and that’s how the team captured the snowman cell.
