Just attended the ad hoc TAS School Board meeting this morning and found out that not only has an offer been made and accepted for TAS’s next Head of School, but a new interim HoS has been announced as well!

Taipei American School (TAS) is delighted to share significant updates with the TAS community regarding its leadership for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond.
In a letter addressed to the community, the TAS Board of Directors announced the retirement of Dr. Grace Cheng Dodge, the appointment of Evelyne Estey as Interim Head of School, and the selection of David Frankenberg as the sixteenth Head of School.
Farewell, Dr Grace Dodge - you will be missed. Many of us appreciated the changes you started in your very short term.
I had the chance to meet David Frankenberg at one of the Meet-the-Candidate meetings last Spring. Good to hear you came to terms with the school.
Very curious to learn more about the interim HoS - an investment banker by training before heading up Lycée Français De New York for several years.
