New Paper ARCs

I heard this may just be for short-term laborers. Not sure though.

What’s your source on this? The article I linked isn’t very specific, but perhaps we all (including myself) jumped the gun on this one.

Confirmed with a contact in NIA

If you really think about it chipped ID’s aren’t necessarily secure, especially if they rely on the chip to provide the security. Any card can be cloned and faked. Read about RFID credit cards and it’s really easy to skim them.

I’m sure my old ARCs used to be paper…

Makes it easier to counterfeit, which suites the nation :slight_smile:

Just got my new ARC in the mail today and it’s the same blue plastic one. Going for my APRC next year. woot woot :discodance:
