It’s a well-known fact that quantum tunnelling doesn’t work in Cornwall. Strange but true.
Now, is Steviebike really drunk, or in a state of indeterminate drunkenness until his wave function is collapsed by a not-drunk observer? And when that happens, is he decoherent or simply incoherent?
Stevie, are you the bod particle, the sod particle or the mod particle? I suspect you are the mod particle, based on you being a sound fella. #modfather

Nice start to the day, thanks. I’m particular about my particles and the SK particle I believe to be sound and 100% confirmed
I have to say there are a few wonderful posters on here and I’m very happy to have met their particles. Why does that sound wrong?
Who bothered to listen to the podcast I attached? Show of hands, so I know who now understands that they dont get probability, and that they listen to the superking!
We haven’t even bloody got close to talking about effect sizes. Jebus Cripes, this ruddy ‘clod’ particle is looking less and less likely.

I just want space travel at close to the speed of light, I’m not too fussed on the mechanics of it all, just has to come down to a price point of a few grand for a millennium falcon and I’m in. So the LHC are making this possible for me with their efforts. I’m entirely serious.
Infinite Monkey Cage… you#d bloody love it. Robin Ince and the much fancied Brian COX (him out of D:ream years ago) I put a bit on a you tube…
You can find ALL the casts on the bbc. They are science = humour, emphasis on the science. They are so much better than ‘tiny atoms’ on the apple thing, and better in some ways than ‘all in the mind.’
Stevie… dont make me come over there and cut the crusts off your sandwich.
