Not exactly animal crushing, but here goes. Several years ago I was bored out of my mind in Beijing and stopped by the Beijing Zoo. Just inside the gate after I gave them my ticket, I noticed a stand renting pop-guns to kids who would then run around the zoo pretending to shoot the animals. Quite popular.
