New Taipei City Children Cards for MRT?

When I look at the metro fares, I see a mention of a special discount for children in New Taipei City:

Taipei City elementary school students holding digital Student ID EasyCards or Children Cards, enjoy 40% off single journeys on the Taipei Metro; while children holding New Taipei City Children Cards enjoy 60% off single-journeys.

Anyone know how/where to get one of these New Taipei City Children Cards?

Are these different from the concessionaire cards?

Maybe ask an MRT employee?

I think it is different, it appears to be subsidized by the New Taipei City government. I got a PM saying that they’re generally issued by local schools.

yes, issued by the school, sometimes also doubles as student id card and library card.
