I think these are new, because i haven’t seen or heard of them before. I got hold of a really cool Taipei City map issued by TRTC which has small (but very detailed) maps of every MRT station and its environs, including which buses go from which bus stops at which MRT station exits. Together, they pretty much cover most of Taipei all the way north to Tamsui. There will probably be a woefaully inadequate number printed, so grab 'em while you can. Look out for the pink cover with what looks like an ad for MRT one-day passes on it.
