How come there’s been such an explosion of new threads started on Forumosa this month?
I’ve wondered about that too. For a while, this site seemed moribund. People dropped out for no apparent reason (Remember HakkaSonic? or the helpful Salmon?) Did they leave Taiwan, get bored with the discussions or offended by other posters? Of the 2400-plus registered users, only a handful of people regularly take part in the discussion. Has there been a sudden influx of foreigners in Taiwan or just a lot of new cai-niaos on Forumosa?
Salmon went back to England not too long after he got married.
I think the rainy weather has kept people indoors and at their keyboards.
