I have a friend coming to visit early next week and we might be looking to go out in Taipei. We’re both early 20s women, might want a fun place to go and socialize, have a drink or two, maybe even dance- thought neither one of us is super fussy. Any advice on places that won’t be dead on Monday or Tuesday night?
Woobar at the W is always a safe bet.
Marquee and Barcode might also be good - but on a Monday or Tuesday it’s hit or miss.
You could check out the 2 for 1 pasta thing at On Tap on Tuesdays. It’s good food and there’s always a few people in there. But if fizzles out by about 10. After that you could try some places others recommend.
Barcode is open every night.
Brass Monkey has a Salsa night every Tuesday, where dancers of any (or no) skill level are welcome. They may also have some instructors on hand offering some basic lessons
