I heard Purple was raided and shut down a few weekends ago. Up to 80 arrested, taken to be drug tested, the whole thing filmed for tv, and so on.
So, I’m assuming this is the end of Purple as we know it?
Too bad, because it did have some of the best electronic music to be heard anywhere in Taiwan.
It’s not the end, if the bald guy and Utility Belt can help it. I hear they’re pooling together money with Tainan ganglords to buy off the police. If they succeed, it will be a victory for pillheads everywhere.
