Northern Taiwan (SAR)

For sure, stratifying Taiwan has never been suggested, but I find it strange that anyone thinks it is strange.

Taiwan is filled with a majority of people who don’t want to live in Taiwan, SAR. Yet, they will have no choice under the current state of things. China knows the Taiwanese are a proud people, but they also know they love their money and stuff. The majority of them live and prosper in the north. They vote their wallet, not their conscience. With the rise of China in the past 30 years, they’ve exploited their vast impoverished reserves to become a cash rich bully, dead-set on becoming a feared regional power. Something they have never, ever been.

But China is lazy and untalented. They don’t understand machizmo, and the only thing that drives their decisions is money. They explode shit, beat on it and light it on fire to try and get more. For themselves. Sounds like Taiwan to me.

Their original desire to recoup Taiwan is to ‘make right’ the embarrassing loss to the Japanese in the 1st war, and the embarrassing squander (at the hands of the Americans and CKS) in the 2nd. But this is 70 years later, and China and Taiwan have entered the 21st century shackled to their own ‘outdated’ 20th century policies.

China peruses Taiwan because that’s what they’re supposed to do.

Taiwan fends them off because that’s what they’re supposed to do.

China won’t quit because that looks weak. Taiwan won’t quit because that makes them look week. So the beat goes on and on.

Northern Taiwan, SAR is a means to and end. Northern Taiwan and the Republic of Taiwan will be created through military strategy, and peace will be negotiated quickly. the ROT will retain their military , but will remain friendly and neutral with their northern neighbors. China will treat NT as a SAR. allowing for self identity and such (like HK), but will be free to create their own military presence.

The ROT will posses a military that allows for defense, and will be the Switzerland of Asia.

Residents of Northern Taiwan will retain their property rights and such, just like the people of HK did in 1997. HSR and other modes of transportation will flow freely, as will trade and commerce. They will treat each other as small neighboring countries in Europe do. They might even have a state-to-state style existence like the USA. Who knows?
