Haven’t seen this posted here yet. I figured most people would have heard by now, but for those who have been kind of out of it for the 3-day weekend: Easycard (悠游卡) is now acceptable payment at many nationwide small retail chains (convenience stores and many companies under the 統一 umbrella). I wonder if this is a good idea given the known weakness of Mifare Classic technology.
