:bravo:
Sean, that is GREAT news!!! I haven’t seen the dog since you and your friend first came out here and were in the hills looking for it. i’ll have to thank the neighbors as well when i see them next… usually in the mornings when i leave for work.
How good of them to take him to the vet! I’m glad they listened to your advice… they sound/seem like fantastic people who really love animals.
Thanks again to you as well… I hope the guy has a speedy recovery. He’s lucky to be in your care!
Our vet has done a great job of sewing up the wound, which was pretty nasty, and very deep. Whoever tied that wire around his neck caused him months of excruciating pain.
Wotsit, as I’ve named him, is now recovering at our Bali facility, in the caring hands of our facility manager, Helen. Amazingly, this shy dog took an instant liking to Helen, and it looks likes his life has already begun to be a happier one.
Wotsit reminds me of my Foxie, in the way he walks and in his shy demeanour with little breaks of affection. He also resembles a teddy bear. Well, I think so, anyway.
We’ll be putting Wotsit up for adoption in a couple of weeks, once his wounds have healed … and he’s taken a bath.
Wotsit, or ‘Wally’, as his fosterer calls him, has just been adopted!
Not only that, Wotsit’s new guardian is a TV presenter on Formosa Fun and her new four-legged friend will be making regular appearances on her show. :bravo:
The adoption fell through with the TV presenter, as her roommates didn’t want a dog.
But … Wotsit’s wonderful fosterer, who calls him Wally and who has given him the kind of love-filled life most of us oly dream of, called me yesterday to say that she couldn’t imagine life without this wonderful four-legged friend, and she has officially made him part of her family. He’ll be living in Canada with her and her other dog when she goes back home, too. :bravo:
We’re all over the moon, as Wotsit/Wally came from such sorry and painful circumstances, and now has a lovely family to call his home, where he gets lots of loving attention, long walks, and a little bit spoilt.
