Nutrition bars/Energy bars

Hey all,

I am just posting to say that I own a company here in Taiwan called Charge Up that sells nutrition bars. There are five different flavors, all of which I’ve created myself. The main ingredients are dried fruits, nuts, and spices. I do not add any preservatives or fillers making them very healthy. They are all natural and have about 150-200 calories / bar.

The flavors include:

Chocolate brownie- Dates, walnuts, unsweetened cocoa powder
Cranberry Pie- Dates, Cranberries, Almonds
Cinnamon Raisin- Dates, Raisins, Almonds, Cinnamon
Pecan Pie- Dates, Pecans, Almonds
Chocolate Chip Cookie- Dates, Almonds, Chocolate chips, vanilla, salt

The price starts at 59 NT/ bar. But the more you buy, the less you pay. 10 bars = 49NT / bar (total 490 NT). If you order in bulk (50 bars or more) there will be a significant price decrease.

For now you can purchase online at our website at: info@chargeup.com.tw
OR
you can visit Specialized Bike shop in Neihu + Dave C’s gym near Guting MRT

Thanks and take care!

Yeah, these are great bars! You guys should try them out. The brownie and pecan pie are our favorite flavors and they’re a hit at our gym. There are no grains in them, either. Support local business!

Sorry if this is OT, but is having no grains beneficial? Why?

Some people have allergies to gluten, others are looking to cut down on carbs due to their diet. Not saying these are low carb necessarily since they have dried fruit but the lack of grains would appeal to some dieters.

Oh, ok… thanks! How would these compare to granola bars then as fuel for long runs/hikes?
