Are the underwriters of this occupational accident insurance private sector?

Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act requires employers to sign up all workers for occupational accident insurance on their first day at work, regardless of the size of the company. The act provides for two months of full salary payout for those suffering from an occupational injury or disease.

The actual entity which bears the risk, is that private sector or is this a government managed scheme? Couldn’t tell from the article. Edited my question above to make it more clear.

Wait, what does the current labor insurance cover if not this?

There was no law that force small businesses the purchase it. This juts ensures all employees are covered.

It sounds like this is going to replace laobao.

I think the law separated laobao’s Occupational Accident Insurance part.

Like Liberty said, it was voluntary if employer had less than 5 workers.
A few other things were improved too.

Fify.

I’m too lazy right now to dig up the actual text of the law on the LY site, so I’ll wait for it to make it to the MOJ’s site.
