So there is this page with cough cough lots of images that I wouldn’t mind capturing on my HD.

any recommendations on a off-line web page capture program for Mac OS X?

Can’t you do this via Automator in Tiger? I played with it recently and it captured the front page of Taiwanho, complete with pictures.

Automator can do this. Try this:

  1. Get Specified URLs
  2. Get Image URLs from Webpage - linked from these webpages
  3. Download URLs

There’s a also a plugin for Firefox.
