HELP!! well not really. but just found out I’ll be having to leave the country either tomorrow or the next day and Okinawa seems to be the cheap destination. Anyone know of a good website to get info on Okinawa or have any good ideas. Basically will be there for 2 or three days and would like to hit the beach and spend as little money as possible. Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I had to make a visa run to Okinawa once a couple of years back. I originally intended to take a bus into town and wander around for a few hours, and catch a later flight back to TPE. This was until I discovered you can’t change NT$ in the Okinawa airport! So if you’re going to stay, bring traveller’s checks or cash, or you’ll end up having a very short tour!
