Open an eyebrow bar

You’re very welcome.

Yes. Can be very difficult to embark on starting a new business in a foreign country.

Yes, same conditions. Any type of work whether it be for money or even free charity volunteer work. You may not engage in any activity which isn’t specifically authorized based on your immigration status.

And, I might add, ESPECIALLY any political causes. Stay clear of any political rallies or such. Absolutely prohibited regardless of immigration status.

Bad information.

Unless your friend is a Taiwanese citizen or your friend is a foreigner, but married to a Taiwanese citizen or has permanent residency (APRC) or your friend received authorization from the National Immigration Agency.

Or, simply that your friend is working illegally without proper authorization and has just not gotten caught, yet.

Sure do! Go to the National Immigration Agency immediately.

Your next stop after reading through your forum post and all the valuable responses is to go to your local NIA office to inquire and get the official information regarding what you are legally authorized to do based on your current immigration status. Only the NIA can tell you clearly what you can and can’t do and the proper procedures and/or requirements you have to meet in order to do your “eyebrow business” thingy…whatever that is…

After you go to the NIA and get all the most recent scoop. You return to this thread and you post your experiences and the information you have received from the NIA. This will “pay it forward” by sharing your experience and help make this forum a great place for everyone to get current information. OK?

I’ll be eagerly awaiting your post NIA visit follow up.

Good luck and best from all of us.
