I’m foreign student in Kaohsiung. I want to open stock account to buy stock in Taiwan. Therefore today morning i went to Yuanta securities to open account. They gave me a contract (only in chinese), I cant understand and must use GG translate to complete it. BUT they dont’nt allow me to create account because I dont understand contract in chinese. Anyone can give me advice? what company i can open account easily. Thank you very much

In order to open a stock account you need to register first at the Taiwan Stock Exchange corporation so you can obtain an “Investor ID”

I don’t have a stock account , however if your registration has been approved , then shouldn’t be difficult to open a stock account with any security firm

I have an account with Yuanta Securities. Wasn’t hard to open, but all the forms are in Chinese.

The stock trading apps are also all in Chinese. So if you can’t read Chinese, you’ll have a hard time investing.

You can try with CTBC (China Trust) but they have a separate securities offices for that.

yes. I have search only JihSun, Huanan, Yuanta is near my address
I had success with Fubon, can’t recall if I could have gotten by without Chinese though.

Correct .
But don’t bother trading foreign stocks with them.
Only Taiwan stocks have low fee trading.
